<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate and ensure guiding to a desired destination by providing a medium wherein the data of a specified point on a map are stored and an announcing means, taking out and displaying the data from the medium, and announcing the data. CONSTITUTION:A memory 5 of a running guide system 1 is constituted of, e.g. a CD-ROM. Running guidance data and the like are stored in addition to map data. The data corresponding to a specified point on a map are stored. A display 6 is constituted of, e.g. a television. A guide mode can be selected with a touch panel switch 6a. When an automatic mode is selected and a vehicle approaches the specified guide data point, a computer 4 receives the specified guide data. The data are displayed on the television 6 and announced from a speaker 7. Therefore, when sight-seeing places are many, the guidance to the desired places can be made easy.</p> |
