PURPOSE:To effect the reaction of silicone rubber and a compd. which generates a strong acid by light with high sensitiveness and to obtain the planographic printing plate which is free from contamination by incorporating the compd. which generates the strong acid by light into the silicone rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:This printing plate has an ink repulsion layer consisting of the silicone rubber on a base. The ink repulsion layer contains the compd. which generates the strong acid by light. A number of trihaloalkyl compds. which form a free group by the irradiation of active rays is used as such compd. The reaction of the strong acid generated by light and the silicone is highly sensitive in this way and the so-called sensitivity is improved. Since the silicone rubber has no excess substituents, the contamination of the printing plate is prevented.
