PURPOSE: To adjust the opening of a throttle valve finely for idling by adjusting its position to a target opening value specified by a servomotor, not closing it completely upon release of an accelerator pedal. CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve 10 rotated about a rotary shaft 12 by a cable 20 on actuation of an accelerator pedal is provided with a setting control unit 18 including a rotary shaft disposed coaxially with the rotary shaft 12 and mounted on both its ends with a driving lever 22 and a driven lever 28, which is pressed in a valve closing direction by a return spring 24. The driven lever 28 is provided at the terminal end 58 of its extension 50 with a stop screw 82 driven thereinto, which is revovled by a motor 54 to set a stop point. The driven lever 28 is further mounted with a projecting carrier pin 30, which is engaged with an extension 16 on the rotary shaft 12. Another extension 36 at the other end of the rotary shaft 12 is engaged with a carrier 38 rotated by a servomotor 42. |
