PURPOSE:To omit the useless operation of hardware and to reduce labor for the control of software by providing a processor device with the software for a word processor and its storage circuit and allowing plural terminals to use the processor device in common. CONSTITUTION:When an electronic telephone book forming function is selected by an input part 12, a terminal control part 11 catches a channel between a communication network 30 and an interface circuit 25 in the processor device 20 through an interface circuit 15 and then transfers telephone book data stored in a telephone book RAM 14 arranged in a terminal equipment 10 to a storage part 27 in the processor device 20. A processor control part 28 controlled by the word processor software in a word processor software ROM 26 writes or rewrites telephone book data stored in a storage part based upon received character and control codes. Then the control part 11 retransfers the telephone book data in the storage part 27 to the RAM 14 and displays the data on a display part 13. Consequently, the useless operation of the hardware is omitted, labor for the control of software is reduced, and cost also is reduced. |
