PURPOSE:To compose various musical sounds by setting a carrier signal so that a musical sound wave is a single-frequency sine or cosine wave when a mixing control means controls the mixing rate of a modulated signal to the carrier signal to 0. CONSTITUTION:The characteristics of the carrier signal from a carrier signal generation part 101 are set so that when the mixing control part 104 controls the mixing rate of the modulated signal to 0, the musical sound waveform generated by a waveform output part 106 is the single-frequency sine or cosine wave. Consequently, the mixing control part 104 sets the mixing rate of the modulated signal to 0 in advance and then the musical sound waveform consisting of only the single-frequency sine or cosine wave can be generated and a complicate musical sound waveform can be generated with the simple circuit constitution. |
