Control device for maintaining the level of water in a toilet flushing tank. This device comprises a valve 1 which interrupts the admission of water and is actuated by a float 4 contained in a cistern 3, means for controlling the level of water entering the cistern, consisting of a rotary disc element 9 on which there is formed an opening 11 for the passage of the water, expandable means for fixing the rotary element by pressure to the cistern, and annular retention means integral with the said rotary element 9, a semicircular slot 12 being formed on the wall of the cistern, with which the rotary disc is integral, in line with the semicircle described by the hole 11 of the disc 9 set in rotation for varying the level of admitted water, resulting from the actuation of the float passing from a minimum level intended for the functioning of the valve to a maximum level of content of the cistern 3. <IMAGE>
