发明名称 ARRAY TYPE SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To radiate a light from between light emitting units and to obtain a continuously near visual field image by alternately disposing clad layers and active layers on an arraying line of the units, emitting adjacent unit, and optically coupling the units via the clad layer. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting units, i.e., active layer 23 parts and clad layers 22, 24 parts are alternately aligned on an array line HL of the units. Thus, when carriers are recombined in the units of the layer 23 to emit a light, the emitted light is emitted from the end faces of the layers 22, 24, so guided as to partly impregnate to the layers 22, 24, and the light is also emitted from the layers 22, 24. Particularly, when two adjacent units emit lights, the two units are optically coupled by the lights for guiding the layers 22, 24 occupying between the units. Thus, a light emitting state is linearly connected to obtain a near visual field image.
