NEW MATERIAL:A phenylcyclohexane derivative of the formula (R<1> is oxo or hydroxy; R<2> is morpholino or morpholinomethyl). EXAMPLE:2-Ethoxycarbonylmethyl-6-morpholino-2-phenylcyclohexanone. USE:Useful as a medicine because of having a platelet aggregation-inhibiting action, an enucleated intestine contraction-inhibiting action and an analgestic action. PREPARATION:Either or both the CH2CO2C2H5 group and R<2> group are introduced to the respective positions of 2-phenylcyclohexane as a starting raw material to prepare the compound of the formula wherein the R<1> is an oxo group. The compound of the formula having a hydroxyl group as the R<1> group is prepared by reducing the compound of formula having the oxo group as the R<1> group.
