IC engine for use with hang glider - has controls mounted on support which is strapped to pilot's forearm
摘要
The pilot of a hang-glider has a portable engine attached to his or her back by means of a rucksack. The engine is controlled by means of a throttle twist grip (1) which is secured to the pilot's hand by a strap (2). This twist grip (1) is attached to a housing (3) which is fitted with the ignition switch and the choke lever (4). The housing (3) is mounted on a support (5) which carries a slider (6) fitted with a second strap (8) which is strapped to the pilot's forearm. A Bowden cable (7) is connected to the lower end of the support (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - The pilot can control the engine without removing his hands from the hang-glider controls.
