PURPOSE: To eliminate ensurely infectious virus from blood and blood constituents by bringing under sufficient conditions for their activation, all existent virus in the blood or blood constituents into contact with a virus- destroying substance in a bag to ensure inactivation. CONSTITUTION: A plastic bag 3 has another container 13 which is connected in a closed state to an ordinal PVC tube 7. The container 13 submits or generates substances destroying virus-like microorganisms and contains means for supplying them into the bag 3 by way of the tube 7 linked to an optional plastic bag 9, and is also connected to other optional bags 27, 31, and 33 by using a general Y-letter shaped connector and a clamp 25 through a general PVC tube 21. The bag 3 is connected in a closed state to all the containers for substances destroying virus like microorganisms (or ingredients for producing such substances on the spot), thus, enabling to collect, process, store and administer blood, and blood constituents or other substances without being contaminated in the bag after blood is collected from a donor. |
