<p>PURPOSE:To enhance dust collecting efficiency by constituting the negative electrode plate opposed to a discharge wire of a conductive filter and connecting the negative pole of a DC high voltage power supply to said filter. CONSTITUTION:Positive electrode plates 16 made of sheet metal is arranged between the corrugations of a conductive filter 15 impregnated with conductive substance being a dust collecting filter. The conductive filter 15 is connected to the negative pole of a DC high voltage power supply and the positive electrode plates 16 are connected to the positive pole thereof. When DC high voltage is applied between a discharge wire 6 and the conductive filter 15, corona discharge is formed therebetween and dust particles contained in room air are positively charged to be attracted and collected by the conductive filter 15. By this method, labor cleaning a negative electrode plate can be omitted.</p> |
