<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate clogging of a refractory bonding device by forming the inner wall of a flow channel with a ceramic material which is electrically conductive at a liquidus temperature and which is capable of induction heating with a primary coil. CONSTITUTION: A refractory bonding device is installed between a container with a molten metal in and a device for taking it out. In that refractory bonding device, the inner wall 1 of a flow channel is formed entirely or partially with a ceramic material which is electrically conductive at least at the liquidus temperature of the molten metal and which is capable of induction heating with a primary coil 4. The vertical part L of the inner wall 1 of the flow channel is formed with an electrically conductive ceramic material. In the refractory bonding device, ZrO2 is stabilized by CaO or MgO or particularly by Y2 O3 . The frequency of the power source is set at 3 to 10 MHz. As a result, solidification of the molten metal, sticking of alumina from the molten metal and the like are prevented.</p> |
