STABILIZED POLYPHENYLENE ETHER RESIN COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare a polyphenylene ether resin compsn. excellent in the thermal stability during high temp. molding and capable of improving the retention of properties of a high temp. molded item for a long term at a high temp. by compounding a polyphenylene ether resin with a specific compd. as a thermal stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:A polyphenylene ether resin [e.g. a mixture of poly(2,6- dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)ether with a rubber-modified polystyrene] is compounded with a compd. selected from the group consisting of compds. with chemical structures I to III as a thermal stabilizer.
