PURPOSE:To control the cutting speed properly and smoothly according to the material quality of a member to be cut and the cut sectional form and to increase the cutting efficiency and cutting accuracy by controlling the cutting speed in such a manner that the cutting resistance is less than 15g/cm and it is a smooth speed change. CONSTITUTION:Grooved rollers 1 having a lot of guide grooves are disposed on the respective apexes of triangle, in parallel to each other, and a machining liquid containing abrasive grains is supplied from a machining liquid supply nozzle 2 to a cut portion to cut a member to be cut while member 4 to be cut fixed on an elevating material fixing table is pressed to high-speed travelling wire 3 group stretched among the grooved rollers 1.
