Rotational flag pole - has lighting unit built into cap to illuminate both sides of flag

The flag pole has an outer tube (10) that carries a flag fixed to the outer profiled surface on one side. A cap (30) is fitted to the top of the tube and this has two built in lighting units (31) that direct light onto both surfaces of the flag. The tube is supported on bearings (21) on a central pole (18) to allow movement to follow changes in wind direction. Electrical power is supplied to the lightning unit via a centre cable (19), slip ring (22) and contact (33). ADVANTAGE - Provides illumination of flag.
