The device is for hammering in an impact anchor with a spreading sleeve. It consists of a drill on whose shank is an impact disc (3) and a movable driving element (2) comprising a sleeve whose o.d. is reduced (9) at the impact end (10). Its other end (8) is in contact with the impact disc (3). The sleeve can expand once it is in the hole in the rock or masonry, to give a secure anchorage. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simply constructed and easy to handle, fits in the chuck of a hammer drill.
