Support leg for hospital bed - has corner posts with telescopic leg sections having drive linkage

Hospital bed comprises foot, head and corner posts and single or multiple part lying area, the posts hollow to take telescopic legs adjusted synchronously through a drive linkage and forcibly guided inside the posts by strips, casing or rings. The legs (2) should be moved by a central motor using limit switches or stops for the in and out movement, each leg fitted at the bottom with a roller bearing (18) and castor (19). -The posts (1) are pref. aluminium and are cased outside in veneer or printed foil. The leg support housing screws onto the post and is fitted at the base with a rubber or plastics strip (20). ADVANTAGE - Telescopic synchronously adjusted legs have bottom castors and rubber strips for easy movement and anchorage.
