AQUEOUS DISPERSION, COMPOSITE POWDER AND ORGANOSOL COMPOSITION OF FLUORORESIN

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject dispersion useful for the production of an organosol by adding particles each of which is composed of a core comprising a polymer comprising tetrafluoroethylene and a fluoroolefin and a shell comprising a specified polymer. CONSTITUTION:99 to 100wt.% tetrafluoroethylene (a) and 0 to 1wt.% fluoroolefin (b) copolymerizable with component (a) are polymerized at 10 to 120 deg.C in the presence of an initiator in an aqueous medium containing 0.03 to 1wt.% water- soluble fluorinated dispersant under a pressure of 6 to 60kg/cm<2> to obtain a polymer (A) which forms a core. 60 to 100mol% alpha-substituted acrylate (c) of the formula [wherein X is CH3, F or a trifluoromethyl; Rf is a fluoroalkyl or a fluoro(alkoxyalkyl)] and 0 to 40mol% monomer (d) copolymerizable with component (c) are polymerized in the presence of component A to obtain the title dispersion containing composite colloidal particles of a mean particle diameter of 0.05 to 1.0mum consisting of a core comprising component A and a shell comprising a polymer of a glass transition temperature <=50 deg.C obtained from component (c) and component (d).
