PURPOSE: To conduct precision analysis by providing a thin capillary containing an injection end part and an outlet end part, an injection storage, an outlet storage, an electrode, a cell formed in the capillary, and an ultraviolet absorbence detector. CONSTITUTION: An injection end part 12 and an outlet end part 30 of a thin capillary 10 are assigned in a buffer liquid 15 and storages 14 and 28. When a separation is started, an unknown material of μg unit is sent to the injection end part 12 of the capillary 10, then, an electric field is applied between the capillaries 10, so that an electric charge of an unknown sample 17 is moved from one end part 12 of the capillary 10 to the other end part 30. At the last stage of the movement, an unidentified component of the sample 17 is introduced in a cell 32, and an ultraviolet lay passes through the cell 32. A part of the light is absorbed by a biological sample, and an absorption level is measured with a detector 42. Each component material is identified from the amount of light absorption, for analyzing the sample 17. Thus, a trace component is analyzed with precision. |
