<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the delay in the rise of electrostatic charge potential after repetitive use by incorporating specific compds. into at least the charge generating layer of the charge generating layer and charge transfer layer successively laminated on a conductive base. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the compds. expressed by formula I, formula II, etc., are incorporated into at least the charge generating layer 15 of the charge generating layer 15 and charge transfer layer 17 successively laminated on the conductive base 11. In the formula I, Ar denotes a naphthalene ring, anthracene ring, styryl group and the substitution product thereof or a pyridine ring, fur, thiophene ring; R denotes a lower alkyl group or benzyl group. In the formula II, R1 denotes a lower alkyl group, 2-hydroxyethyl group or 2- chloroethyl group; R2 denotes a lower alkyl group, benzyl group or phenyl group; R3 denotes a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, di-lower alkylamino group or nitro group. The delay in the rise of the electrostatic charge potential after the repetitive use is prevented in this way.</p> |
