<p>Continuous molding of objects, such as fasteners with filament-like portions (24), using a rotatable molding wheel with peripheral orifices. Plastic is extended through a manifold (36) upon the periphery of the wheel (40), and a knife assembly (42) in eliptical contact within the wheel is used to skive film from the moulded objects. Then selected portions of the objects can be stretched (47) by using diverging sprocket wheels (220). A universal joint aligns the manifold automatically with the wheel.</p> |
