PURPOSE:To make grinding finishing work and assembling work unnecessary by a method wherein a permanent magnet is formed in the casing of a rotor or a stator through the compression molding of magnetic powder mixed with binder. CONSTITUTION:Mixed material is prepared by mixing the magnetic powder of rare earth with thermosetting epoxy resin or binder while the mixed material is poured into the casing 4 of a rotor 3 or a stator 19. Then, the mixed material is molded by compression so as to have a peripheral shape along the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 5 of the casing to mold the molded form 66 of magnet. Subsequently, the mixed material is cured by processing the binder through heating and, thereafter, the casing 4 is attached to a magnetizer to magnetize said molded form 66 of magnet so as to magnetize four poles of N, S, N, S in the circumferential direction of said molded form 66 to form permanent magnets 6. According to this method, the permanent magnets are molded so as to have a configuration along the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical part of the casing and are incorporated whereby grinding finishing work or assembling work to obtain the configuration along the casing may be unnecessitated and, as a result, the manufacturing cost of a motor may be inexpensive. |
