A dispenser comprises a housing with a capsule piercer, a cylindrical chamber in which the capsule can rotate freely to release the medication, and a mouthpiece. The chamber has three air inlets spaced around its wall, pref. regularly spaced and formed as passages extending tangentially from the chamber wall. The dispenser body is pref. formed of two hinged parts for movement between open and closed positions, and with flanges which form part or all of the closed walls of the chamber. The piercer is pref. an element located within the receptacle formed by the elements. The body is pref. of plastics with an integral hinge.
