PURPOSE:To eliminate the adverse influence of the excessive consumption of consumable parts upon the recording device by providing a consumption progress decision means. CONSTITUTION:The consumption progress decision means 211 sends a signal for control to a circuit 213 for fusion according to the progress of the consumption of consumable parts 201 to supply energy for fusion to the corresponding fuse element among 203-1 to 203-N for a finite time. After the circuit 213 for fusion supplies the energy for fusion to the corresponding fuse element, a fusion decision means 215 checks whether or not the corresponding element is blown and takes a necessary countermeasure. Consequently, the adverse influence of the abnormality of the consumable parts upon the recording device can be eliminated. |
