<p>PURPOSE: To prepare a document corresponding to a model distinguished by means of a graphic characteristic by selecting a next grid line as a reference line in consideration of format data arranging the reference line and the next grid line as reference lines and the interval between graphic elements. CONSTITUTION: A used model is specified by plural sets of parallel grid lines some pairs of which for arranging input document information are in different directions. A processor 1 records input data concerning the interval and the direction of the grid lines applied to each set and operates based on a final grid line becoming the reference line in the case of arranging the graphic element. Then in consideration of format data of the graphic element arranged to the reference line, format data of the graphic element to be arranged from the present time by setting the next grid line as the reference line and the interval between the graphic elements, the next grid line to be used as the reference line of the graphic element to arrange from the present time is selected. Thereby the contact of a text line to arrange from the present time and a text line before it with each other is prevented.</p> |
