PURPOSE: To process a request placed in an extension memory by dividing a program module into a resident section and a nonresident section. CONSTITUTION: The program module to execute by loading to a computer 10 is divided into the resident section and the nonresident section to load to he main memory 20 of the computer 10. Next, the nonresident section is moved to one or plural pages of the extension memory 24 to correct an address in the resident section indicating a location in the nonresident section to indicate the location of corresponding nonresident section in the page frame of the extension memory 24. In addition an address in the nonresident section indicating a locating in the resident section is corrected to receive and process one or plural callings from a calling side. Thereby an I/O request provided with a data buffer on the extension memory is processed.
