PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy in the size of a storage battery pole plate and eliminate generation of shavings when the pole plate is cut by cutting the unnecessary portion of the projecting portion of a pole plate panel in the course of a horizontal feed process for the pole plate panel. CONSTITUTION:A double-linked chain 1 is suspended to a sprocket 2, and a plurality of pole plate panels (a) are each suspended at its ear side projection portion (c) and at its leg side projecting portion (d), and the panel (a) is caused to advance by intermittent feeding of the sprocket 2. The top one of panels (a) advancing is sucked by a sucker 3 which makes a movement in its longitudinal direction in synchronization with intermittent movement of the chain 1, and thus the panel is taken out onto a beam feed portion 4 and is cut there, and its projecting portions (c) and (d) fall in such a manner as being suspended by the feed portion 4. At the feed portion 4 pole plates that have fallen have their lower portions lifted up along a curve 6 by a hook 5 and are put in a horizontal state, and are fed in sequence by actuation of a claw 7. The panel (a) is positioned by the claw 7 and a three way cylinder driving stopper by a cutting process D in the course of a horizontal feed process C, and its unnecessary portion (f) is cut by a shearing cutting machine 8. |
