<p>The pressure plate of the vibratory polisher has a cut-out (8) in the polishing plate (1). A pressure plate (3) of the same shape as the cut-out is placed in the cut-out. This plate can be moved to and fro manually, independent from the vibrations generated by the drive motor. The manual movement is imparted via a lever mechanism (5). The polishing surfaces of the main polishing plate and that of the central plate are in the one plane. The levers system (7) which is mounted on the central plate passes through holes in the main pressure plate. The lever system tends to press the central plate down and lift the main plate. The central plate consists of two sandwich plates between which an elastomer material is mounted.</p> |
