<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a high-pressure pump by defining an annular chamber by the bore step of a pump casing and by a cover and embodying a pump outlet bore as restriction. CONSTITUTION: An annular chamber 42 is defined by a substantially radially extending bore step 32 on the side of an eccentric, and is closed off by a cover 56 tight-fitted in a bore section 44 via an O ring 54, with which cover a discharge valve casing 38 is engaged via a centered pin 58. To the annular chamber 42, a pump outlet bore 50 embodies as the restriction of a pump outlet 52 is connected. This arrangement keeps the manufacturing cost of the high-pressure pump smaller.</p> |
