PURPOSE:To greatly improve the drivability during acceleration by providing a fuel injection valve near an intake valve, a fuel injection valve on the upper stream side, and an injection control means, and by constantly controlling the injection of the fuel injection valve on the upper stream side by the injection control means. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to intake air flow and to the rotational speed of an engine 1, a fuel injection valve 2 formed near an intake valve 4 on the lower stream side of an intake tube 8, as well as the injection of a fuel injection valve 3 on the upper stream side formed on the upper stream side thereof are controlled by an injection control means 5, so as to control an air-fuel ratio in the intake tube 8. By the adjustment, delay in outflow of injection fuel from the fuel injection valve 2 during acceleration is compensated by the injection fuel from the fuel injection valve 3 on the upper stream side, and acceleration drivability is improved with flame-out due to the increase in the air-fuel ratio during acceleration being prevented. The control by the injection control means 5 is performed, for example, so as to stabilize the injection from the fuel injection valve 3 on the upper stream side, whereby drivability during acceleration can be improved. |
