摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy in controlling combustion of an engine to a great extent, by providing a means for controlling combustion of the engine on the basis of the value of negative intake pressure developed in an intake passage on the downstream side of an auxiliary valve. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary valve 10 is disposed in an intake passage 5 on the downstream side of a throttle valve 7 for controlling the opening area of the intake passage 5. Outputs of an engine-speed sensor 18 and a negative-pressure sensor 16 are furnished to a control unit 17 to drive a fuel injection nozzle 8. Further, the control unit 17 controls an ignition plug 3 to ignite at a prescribed ignition timing. Thus, since combustion of an engine is controlled on the basis of the negative pressure developed on the downstream side of the auxiliary valve 10, it is enabled to enhance the accuracy in controlling combustion of the engine to a great extent.
