The plastics petrol can has a device for holding an outlet pipe of more than 15 cm in length. A one piece plastics holder comprises two rings connected together by a web which can bend round by 90 deg. The first ring sits axially movable on the base area of the outlet pipe where it cannot move down or up. The second ring sits axially movable on the screw area of the pipe and has an inner diameter allowing rotation of the screw area. The web has at least such length that both the pouring end of the outlet tube can be introduced into the recess and also the screwing area can be screwed onto the outlet pipe. The web can be made from soft plastics and can have a thinner centre cross-section than at the two edges. ADVANTAGE - The outlet pipe is always readily available for use since it is connected to the can by the web. |
