<p>PURPOSE:To improve relationship to both computers by providing the storage part of a date host connected on a network, read part to read the date host from this storage part, inquiry part to inquire a date to this host and date set part to automatically set the date when the inquiry is made successful. CONSTITUTION:In a date storage part 1, the name of a computer to be the date host connected on the network is stored and in a date host read part 2, the name, etc., of the date host is read from the storage part 1. The date host is a computer which is connected on the network to control the date. Next, a date inquiry part 3, the inquiry of the date is executed and in a response part 4, the date of the date host itself is investigated to this inquiry and this date is informed of a requesting source. When this processing is nor mally finished, a decision part 5 moves the next processing to an automatic date set part 6 and the date obtained in the inquiry part 3 is automatically set as the date.</p> |
