摘要 |
PURPOSE:To form a fluoride in at least the surface layer of a sintered material and to remarkably improve the moisture resistance of the sintered material by mixing a Y-Ba-Cu-O type oxide with a fluorine compd. and sintering the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A perovskite type oxide obtd. by calcination in an oxygencontg. atmosphere is mixed with a fluorine compd. and sintered at 850-950 deg.C so that the ratio of Y:Ba:Cu:O:F in at least the surface layer of the resulting sintered body is regulated to (0.8-1.2):(1.8-2.1):(3.0-4.0):(6.5-7.0):(0.1-1.0). The fluorine compd. may be BaF2 or YF3. The sintering is carried out at 850-950 deg.C in an oxygencontg. atmosphere, e.g. in the air. |
