<p>PURPOSE:To promote the operability by enabling a small size tape cassette as well as a standard size tape cassette to be directly inserted into the subject device. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 67 is moved integrally with a small size tape cassette holder 10 by tension springs 81 and 82 and brought into contact with the end parts of guide grooves 73 and 74 of a panel 2 in front of projecting parts 68 and 69, so that an unnecessary part for inserting the small size tape cassette in a tape cassette inserting hole 3 is covered to be concealed. In the case of using the small size tape cassette, when a tape cassette selecting button is pressed, the holder 10 is moved from a position which is not obstructive to the loading operation of the standard size type cassette to a position opposite to the cassette inserting hole 3. Under these circumstances, when the small size tape cassette is inserted, a similar operation to loading the standard size tape cassette is carried out to load this cassette into the device. By this method, the operability particularly is promoted.</p> |
