METHOD FOR ISOLATING WOUND CAPILLARY ENDOTHELIAL CELLS

A method for isolating wound capillary endothelial cells is disclosed. The cells are isolated from sponges which are implanted into wounds. The cell-impregnated sponges are then processed to isolate cells from which wound capillary endothelial cells can be separated. In-vitro cell cultures of wound capillary endothelial cells are also disclosed.
