<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality-maintaining characteristics of the contents by covering and sealing a paper cup with a seal tape which is formed by a saturated polyester resin layer at the both front and back sides on the side end faces of the inside of the cup shell. CONSTITUTION:A back face layer and end face at least at the inner face of the cup in the cap shell formed by superposing and bonding the sides of a laminate sheet 1 for the paper cup with each other are covered and sealed by a sealtape (a) formed by a saturated polyester resin layer 5 having a thermo- adhesive characteristic on both front and back faces. The shell of the cup is provided with a surface layer of polyolefine resin, an intermediate layer chiefly made of paper layers and an inner surface layer of the saturated polyester resin layer which has a low crystalline characteristic of 40 deg.C or higher in the glass transition temperature. Thereby, a quality reserving characteristic not to deteriorate the quality of the contents can be obtained and an adhesive strength between the sealtape and the paper cup and also the shell of the paper cup can be increased.</p> |
