A valve comprises a valve housing 1 with connection ducts 2, 3 and 4 and a slide 9 arranged displaceably in the space of the valve housing. The slide can be manoeuvred in relation to one or more breakaway edges 14, 15 and 16, 17. Each breakaway edge is arranged on a first annular member which can be applied in a fixed or loose manner to the wall of the space, at the duct concerned. This member is provided with or forms, together with an adjacent second annular member, a passage 8, 8' connecting the duct 2, 3 or 4 and the space 1a in the valve housing.
