PURPOSE:To fix the picture of a fingerprint and to obtain the fingerprint information of high accuracy by displaying the level of the force with which a finger depresses a prism. CONSTITUTION:An optimum level for the set state of a finger 2 is set to a display device 6 and an alarming device is provided to promote the reset of the finger 2 according to a deciding means (processor 5) to decide whether the set state of the finger 2 is suitable or not when the set state of the finger 2 is defective. By displaying the level of the force with which the finger 2 depresses the prism 1, the uneveness of the force is reduced as much as possible and the fingerprint picture to be sampled can be fixed. Even when the finger 2 is dislocated from the prism 1 and set, such a state can be corrected. Thus, the fingerprint picture of the high accuracy can be sampled. |
