<p>PURPOSE: To conduct position location with high reliability regardless of its environment, by transmitting the signal controlled by a programmable memory, so that, when an effective range of a reception antenna is crossed, its position and identification number is specified. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a body 11 which houses an electronic component and an antenna 38 and a wrist leather strap 12, being configured like a wristwatch. When the signal of an EEPROM 31 drives a power switch 32 and data is sent to a frequency deviation device 33, the first stage/the second stage multiplier 35 is driven with the output which was modulated (34), and then an output is supplied to a basic load 37 through an appropriate output stage 36, for transmission from the antenna 38 at a specified frequency. The signal is received by a nearby receiver. When a user crosses the effective range of a reception antenna, its position is identified, and a signal is sent to a central controller which displays an individual identification number, for the user to be identified. The device includes an alarm which is possible to be automatically operated and actuated when a button 15 is pressed and an automatic alarm which is actuated when a wearer attempts to put off from its wrist.</p> |
