<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect the stop of the revolution of a motor by alternatively carrying out the detection of the voltage value generated by the motor by inertia after checking for the lock of the motor for assisting steering and the reversal brake operation. CONSTITUTION:On the engine start, FETs 22 and 25 are turned ON for a prescribed time by a control part 20, and after a motor 5 is driven in the normal direction in the unloaded state, only FET 22 is turned OFF, and electric conduction is suspended. The voltage generated by the motor 5 which is revolved by the inertia force after the suspension of the electric conduction is compared with a prescribed voltage value, and when it is judged that the motor is not in locked state, the reversal brake state in which the electric current in the direction for the reversal revolution of the motor 5 is allowed to flow in the motor 5 and the state where only FET 25 is turned ON are generated alternatively. When the voltage value generated by the revolution of the motor 5 becomes less than a prescribed value with which the revolution of the motor 5 nearly stops, the succeeding reversal brake is completed, and an electromagnetic clutch 6 is engaged.</p> |
