Wireless remote control using the foot, consisting of a box 1 fixed to a shoe 3 by the use of a strap 2 and which transmits: - a pulsed remote control radio-frequency signal in response to the striking of the sole 5 on the ground 17, the heel 4 remaining in contact with the ground; - a remote control radio-frequency signal proportional to the rotation of the longitudinal axis of the foot in a horizontal plane, with respect to a centre of rotation situated in the region of the heel 4. This remote control may replace or advantageously complement a foot control when the user often has to change position, and is of interest mainly to dental surgeons. <IMAGE>
