PURPOSE: To obtain a respiration mask which filtrates particles and/or harmful gas, and toxic gas from breathing air by manufacturing it from a flexible air- impermeable and foaming material and providing it with a shell having a hole and with a filter liner which filters the air passing through the hole. CONSTITUTION: This respiration mask 10 is equipped with an outside shell 11 which is thermally formed from a single-layer sheet of a cross-linked air- impermeable independent foaming material and a discharge valve 16. The respiration mask 10 can be worn comfortably for a long period of time by making the shell 11 soft enough to fit easily around the nose and mouth to the outline of the wearer. Having a hole 12 passing the front of the shell 11 of the mask, when mask 10 is to be discarded after use, the outside filter 18 is attached on the hole 12 by an adhesive and it is possible to be attached removably to the outside of the shell 11 of the mask by a maintenance instrument when the mask is reusable. The filter 17 is to be attached by an adhesive to the inside of the shell 11 of the mask on the hole 12, for a disposable mask and for a reusable mask it can be attached detachably by a snap type maintenance instrument 19. |
