PURPOSE:To ensure automatically sealed condition by operating and controlling an air-feeding device in such a way that the presence in a closed crosssectional face is higher than the pressure in a sterilizer main body, pressing a seal member to the sterilizer main body side through a door lid plate and ensure a hermetic property of the sterilizer main body. CONSTITUTION:To improve sealed condition between a door lid plate 2B and a sterilizer main body 1, the door lid plate 2B is pressed on the sterilizer main body 1 at a pressure W0 which is a pressure W1 in the sterilizer main body 1 or larger and a relation of W1+H<W0 as the pressure condition in this case holds wherein H is a mechanically-clamping pressure of a packing etc. When a door is closed and the difference in pressure between the inside of the sterilizer main body and the inside of the closed crosssectional face of the door side is detected by means of a pressure difference detecting device 18, if the pressure in the closed crosssectional face of the door side does not satisfy the relation of the said equation, a signal for feeding air is output to an air-feeding device 19. Air is fed in the closed crosssectional face of the door side and the pressure in the closed crosssectional face is elevated. A door lid plate 10B1 forming one side of the wall faces of the closed crosssectional face is displaced to the side of the sterilizer main body 11 and a packing 16 is hermetically adhered on a flange 11A to suppress the leakage of a pressure medium from the side of the sterilizer main body 11 and to prevent the pressure from decreasing. |
