PURPOSE: To form a plate member with bendable cross sectional shape having a sufficient lateral rigidity relative to a hinge shaft despite of a lightweight structure by connecting a lot of synthetic resin sheath components by connecting strips. CONSTITUTION: A lot of sheath components 1... formed of synthetic resin by extrusion are connected by connecting strips 2.... A plate member of bendable sectional shape composed of a lot of narrow and long components mutually rotating about a hinge shaft parallel to the long axes of themselves. The sheath components 1... are constituted into the wall thickness specified approximately 1 mm and the connecting strips 2... are constituted into the wall thickness specified approximately 200μ. In short, the sheath components 1... are alternately installed into a plate member in such a state as rotated by an angle specified to 180 deg. per each in viewed from the cross section.
