The invention relates to a box for preserving a food product. This box is of the type comprising a container 1 closed by a lid, and is characterised in that the bottom wall of the container 1 on which the product rests comprises open ventilation grooves 2, in that the walls of the box comprise passages through which the inside of the box can communicate with the outside, and in that these passages and the internal volume of the box are dimensioned so as to prevent condensation of the moisture released by the product, inside the box.
