PURPOSE:To improve the monotony of playing music by controlling the formation and output of an additional tone signal in a musical signal forming means according to an intermittent prescribed pattern when the designation of the same melody tone more than a prescribed time is detected. CONSTITUTION:An additional tone generation control means is provided to control the formation and output of the additional tone signal in the musical signal forming means according to the intermittent prescribed pattern when it is detected that the same melody tone is continuously designated for more than the prescribed time. By this additional tone generation control means, the generation of the additional tone signal is controlled according to pattern data, which are stored in a pattern memory, or controlled for each prescribed time. Thus, since the additional tone is generated according to the prescribed pattern when the same melody tone is designated for a long time, the monotony is excluded and the rich music is played. |
