PURPOSE:To adjust the outer form of works in order to simplify automatization of feeding of the works by attaching a holder to each work. CONSTITUTION:Differences in the outer form of works W are adjusted by attaching a holder 16 to each of the works W. A plurality of works W are stocked in a stock portion 18, and a feed portion 21 protrusively feeds the works W stocked in the stock portion 18 to a turning movement chack 7 one by one. The discriminating portion 28 of the holder 16 is read by a read portion and the discrimination signal of each work W is output. A control portion selects a locator according to the discrimination signal and also selects a treatment program and positions each work at least in its axial direction by means of the locator 15. Each work W thus positioned is ground by the cooperation of the turning movement a angles of an A axis and shifts in X,Y and Z directions of the turning movement chack 7 and the rotation, swing motion about the C axis, and shift in the direction of the V axis of a rotating grindstone 14b. |
