PURPOSE:To improve flowability by sticking silica fine powder and magnetic fine powder to the surface of toner particles. CONSTITUTION:The silica fine powder and the magnetic fine powder are stuck to the surface of the toner particles. The ratio of the silica fine powder and the magnetic fine powder is adequately in a (1:2) to (1:3) range. The flowability is improved but the absolute value of a negative charge quantity increases too much if the ratio of the silica fine powder is too high. The charge quantity decreases and the troubles, such as a decrease in the electric resistance of the toner and a decrease in the transfer efficiency, arise if the magnetic fine powder is added too much. The flowability is improved in this way without changing the triboelectric charge quantity and the developing operation is smoothly progressed. The image quality is thus improved.
