The invention relates to a device for protecting buried structural works subjected to running water or water arising from the underground water level rising. This protection device is characterised in that it consists of one or more panels 3 covering the outer wall 2 of the said buried structural works and comprising, in combination, means 4 for filtering the water, means 5 for draining it, and waterproofing means 6, these panels 3 being provided, furthermore, around their periphery 18, with imbrication means 19 to provide sealing between two juxtaposed panels 3.
